We got the Jot writing tablet to keep in the car for the littles to play with during drives. They play old school games like tic tac toe and hangman. They love it. It's a great way to play interactive learning games and they're so proud to show us what they're writing. It is a winner
My son loves being creative and he especially loves drawing. He enjoys using different mediums for his artwork and the Play n Trace Drawing Kit was a hit. We have used it to learn the alphabet words and numbers. You can place this over almost anything and trace it! Erasing is also a cinch! Just press the button and you have a clean slate for even more drawing and tracing. It comes with its own stylus providing a realistic utensil for practicing writing. We take this to restaurants and on road trips for hours of entertainment. My friend uses it in her classroom as a tool to support letter writing. It would be nice if there was a way to add a small light to the board but overall this is an excellent product with a wide variety of uses.
My daughter was really excited to use this and has been using it every day. She draws and says it makes homework fun because she can use it for practice or to write out problems. It erases well and is just the right size for car trips or at home.
The technology is great. It's a lot of fun to write on the notes and erase with a satisfying tap on the button. I just could not find a practical application for them. They don't replace sticky notes because you can't attach them to a piece of paper or pin them to a bulletin board. Writing comes out thick so you have to write relatively large letters and can't fit a lot of info on one note. There's about enough room to write down a name telephone number and maybe a date. You couldn't fit a whole grocery list but you wouldn't want to put the note in your pocket or purse anyway. If you are already writing with a traditional pen it's inconvenient to set that one down and pick up the special pen needed for the notes. I love the idea that it is reusable but it feels less environmentally friendly than reusing a scrap piece of paper that will be recycled. I do not recommend adding the magnet provided to the back as that interferes with the writing surface. I will continue to jot down notes in the margins and scraps of paper already on my desk.
We got this little Boogie Board Writing Tablet and my 5 year old is absolutely obsessed. He is fascinated by the fact that he can draw or write on it press a button that clears everything and start again. He has so much fun with it. As a parent I love it because it is portable and keeps my little guy busy in the car at the store when he is in the cart or just at home while I'm making dinner. Even my older kids have fun with it. This is a fabulous product and I highly recommend it!
Functional. I don't like how the text bleeds just a little and how easy it is to bump the erase button but it serves it purpose. I think if I did it over again I would also get a larger one.
My boys 3 and 6 love this writing tablet. I love that it is mess free. They don't need anything to clean off the board and I don't have to worry about them getting anything on their hands and clothes. The writing pen stays attached and it does not dry out like other pens. The button quickly erases their pictures to start again. Now I just need to purchase a second one so there is no fighting over it. Highly recommend for car and plane rides.
The boogie board was perfect for a trip and to pull out of a bag for an appointment. My kids liked the color of the fire truck theme but they did not recognize it as a truck right away. The stylist was difficult to remove from the tablet but my kids were able to grasp it in their hand easily. I liked the thicker cover that you could snap on so while it was in a bag it was protected a bit. My kids were able to press the button to clear their work without much effort. I was surprised how little force is needed to press and clear the tablet.
I am so happy to have received the Boogie Board - Sketch Pals™ Doodle Board - Clark the Shark. This is a really cool toy if you have a creative child who likes to draw or doodle. Its a tablet inside this cool shark face that has a pen attached. You can write drawn or doodle and with a touch of a button its erased and your ready to draw again. Perfect for boys and girls and would make a great gift.
We love them because we leave notes for my son when he gets home from school. With the included metal plates make it easy to stick them almost anywhere.
When I saw this in the store I knew I had to have it. I constantly jot down little details that I only need to retain for a few minutes at a time and I often have loads of papers on my desk with random things written on them. This completely solved that clutter problem! It's low profile makes it easy to put anywhere on my desk and the pen is easy to keep track of because it snaps on though I could easily use my fingernail if I wanted. It does fit easily into my pocket but I would recommend a cover or hard sleeve for it since pressure from anything else in your pocket will distort whatever is written on the Jot and/or the clear button could be pressed accidentally. I plan on buying another Boogie Board product for my teenager because as soon as he saw mine he wanted it. (hello easy Christmas present!)
I bought this as a Christmas gift so I haven't given it yet but I have gotten it out myself to look at it and I think it's neat. I'm giving only 4 stars because while I like it I don't know yet how much the child will like it.
This is such a gem. We use this to practice sight words and her vocab for school she’s used it to Write messages and for drawing pictures. It has So many uses. I love that she is not going through 30 sheets of paper every time she wants to draw.
The VersaNotes work exactly as advertised. They are perfect for jotting down quick notes that you only need to keep temporarily. My notes stay up to a week and disappear completely with the eraser. Great product plan to order more!
Been great. My 9 year old twins each have one and use them every time we get in the car. The original ones I had purchased have lasted for a couple of years so I bought these to put in my husband’s car.
I recently received this product and immediately gave it to my 2 boys to try out. They have been playing with it ever since and seem to really like it. Seems to be a lot of fun. Highly recommended.
My kids love this drawing pad and have used it over and over since we got it. It draws fairly accurately to where you touch and can be used with other tools which they enjoy but mostly they just draw pictures of our family or random objects or play games with it. Super fun and because it’s reusable indefinitely we’ll be able to keep it a long time!
As we enter a stage of learning how to write and draw this toy has proven to be amazing! It’s super easy to use and really makes learning fun! It’s a great size to even take on the go! The fun and learning never stops!
My soon to be 4 year old pre school grandson is learning to write and this was perfect for him to practice and also draw. His brother and sister both older also played and help him with this learning tablet
First time boogie board purchase. I use it at work everyday. I take a lot of phone call notes and instead of wasting so many sticky notes I use my Jot. It a constant part of my daily routine and I really like it. I would totally recommend one for any office professional.
I got the Boogie Board - Play n' Trace™ Kids Drawing Kit for my 2 year old grandson and it has been one of his favorite toys. I am well beyond happy that he likes this toy. It's holding up very well.
This is genuinely awesome! My son is going to be 4 next month and I have noticed that he has gotten a LOT better with his letters and numbers even drawing and coloring inside of the lines since he started using this. It's educational but he doesn't know it; so it's a great product that I have been surprised pleasantly with. It's adorable and multifunctional. I highly recommend this for busy toddlers. I started using this to keep him occupied during a day trip and he had fallen in love. When I asked him about what to rate this he said 7 out of 5. Mom says 5 out of 5.
Wish it had lacrosse field as that is the most tactical game and hockey players could use as you can go behind goal. Don't understand why a baseball one is needed and this could replace that as playing all sports I don't remember a coach developing plays in baseball?
This Boogie Board - Jot™ Kids Writing Tablet – Lil' Hero is something I didn’t know we needed. My son and his friends love writing and drawing on the tablet. They love that it looks like a fire truck. It also comes apart and has a space to keep the writing pencil. Erase is very easily with no leftover markings.
Purchased as a gift for 7 year old that uses lots of art supplies. I hope it works as a fun convenient item to take along on outings where she needs something to occupy her time (example: soccer match where she is not a player).I purchased the accessory package along with the Magic Board. All fits nicely in the case that is perfectly sized for small hands to easily carry. It’s not heavy and doesn’t require Internet or electrical connection. There was no option for a five star rating.
Boogie Board- Please do NOT DISCONTINUE this model. There are many of us that love this simple squared off style without the elongated bottom for stylus. If necessary I would buy two or three of these to have back ups. The board works well as expected and because it is lightweight and simple in design it is preferred by me and many other I know over some of your more complex models. The price is right and the design is perfect. PLEASE keep it in production. I can even put a couple of sheets of paper on top have my notes and also see the writing on the board as well. My colleagues my family and I love this small and simple board. Thank you. It is a genius product. Don't mess with it.
My little girl and even the 2 year boy both sit and play with this for hours at a time. She loves to draw and write so this is her new best friend. It comes wirh a pencil and is very very easy to erase. It is absolutely adorable but perfect for kids.
I purchased this for myself because I like to have something for short term notes. Less messy than having papers sitting around and no erase or cleanup when done with the note. Just press button to erase. I didn’t need it could live without it but I think it will be fun to use at home. Even though I have an iPad and smart phone they are not always convenient for jotting down short term notes. I will probably use this for things like Wordle grocery items math calculations (calculator not always needed) reminders etc. I will wait until after Christmas to start using because I also purchased the Magic Sketch Drawing Kit as a gift. If the kids see this writing tablet now they will want to play with it.
We have several different boogie boards that we have used in the past. My 6-year-old really likes this one as she is working on her handwriting and letter sizes . I like that it is lap sized (great size for church). My only drawback is that due to the transparency of the writing surface (to allow for tracing) that writing itself doesn't show up as dark as with other boogie boards.
This has been a wonderful item. My father had cancer of larynx and we bought him a boogey board which he used in the hospital to communicate with his nurses. He has several boogie boards now so he has one whenever and wherever he needs to talk to us.

This Sketch Pal is so darling but I was disappointed by how small the screen is. I knew it was on the smaller size when I ordered it but it is smaller than expected. I gave it to my 6 year old for Christmas and he was disappointed and would've liked one of the the regular rectangular Boogie Boards instead. I was hoping to return the shark and buy that for him but their return policy is only 14 days. I had bought it a few weeks before Christmas so we were out of luck. I'm sure my son will still find ways to enjoy it-it really is so cute and is great quality. As a side note I bought the dog one for my 2.5 year old and she absolutely loves it.
Brough this product a couple of months back and it works great. Very easy to use the included stylus and draw and write on the board . Brought it for my kid but can be handy in writing a regular shopping list or to do activities as well.
I bought this variety pack as a gift for my child. As you can see in the picture I got total of 15 cards (advertised 16 cards): 11 cards are drawing design 2 cards are games 2 cards are learning cards. One learning card is half of the alphabet (until J) and the other one is math subtraction on one side and multiplication on the other side. Recommendation: create 3 separate packs: Drawing Games Learning for customers to choose based on their needs. Also please make available the whole alphabet in the Learning Pack.
Adds quite a bit to the original but disappointingly doubles up on the same ones also. So you'll have duplicates of everything that comes in the set with the storage case but also lots of neat additional templates including a bunch of disney drawing ones.
