This Boogie Board - Jot™ Kids Writing Tablet – Lil' Hero is something I didn’t know we needed. My son and his friends love writing and drawing on the tablet. They love that it looks like a fire truck. It also comes apart and has a space to keep the writing pencil. Erase is very easily with no leftover markings.
Purchased as a gift for 7 year old that uses lots of art supplies. I hope it works as a fun convenient item to take along on outings where she needs something to occupy her time (example: soccer match where she is not a player).I purchased the accessory package along with the Magic Board. All fits nicely in the case that is perfectly sized for small hands to easily carry. It’s not heavy and doesn’t require Internet or electrical connection. There was no option for a five star rating.
Boogie Board- Please do NOT DISCONTINUE this model. There are many of us that love this simple squared off style without the elongated bottom for stylus. If necessary I would buy two or three of these to have back ups. The board works well as expected and because it is lightweight and simple in design it is preferred by me and many other I know over some of your more complex models. The price is right and the design is perfect. PLEASE keep it in production. I can even put a couple of sheets of paper on top have my notes and also see the writing on the board as well. My colleagues my family and I love this small and simple board. Thank you. It is a genius product. Don't mess with it.
My little girl and even the 2 year boy both sit and play with this for hours at a time. She loves to draw and write so this is her new best friend. It comes wirh a pencil and is very very easy to erase. It is absolutely adorable but perfect for kids.
I purchased this for myself because I like to have something for short term notes. Less messy than having papers sitting around and no erase or cleanup when done with the note. Just press button to erase. I didn’t need it could live without it but I think it will be fun to use at home. Even though I have an iPad and smart phone they are not always convenient for jotting down short term notes. I will probably use this for things like Wordle grocery items math calculations (calculator not always needed) reminders etc. I will wait until after Christmas to start using because I also purchased the Magic Sketch Drawing Kit as a gift. If the kids see this writing tablet now they will want to play with it.
We have several different boogie boards that we have used in the past. My 6-year-old really likes this one as she is working on her handwriting and letter sizes . I like that it is lap sized (great size for church). My only drawback is that due to the transparency of the writing surface (to allow for tracing) that writing itself doesn't show up as dark as with other boogie boards.
This has been a wonderful item. My father had cancer of larynx and we bought him a boogey board which he used in the hospital to communicate with his nurses. He has several boogie boards now so he has one whenever and wherever he needs to talk to us.
This Sketch Pal is so darling and my 2 year old colored in it for hours after getting it for Christmas. But I was a little disappointed by how small the screen is.

I gave it to my 6 year old for Christmas and he was disappointed and would've liked one of the the regular rectangular Boogie Boards instead. I was hoping to return the shark and buy that for him but their return policy is only 14 days. I had bought it a few weeks before Christmas so we were out of luck. I'm sure my son will still find ways to enjoy it-it really is so cute and is great quality. As a side note I bought the dog one for my 2.5 year old and she absolutely loves it.
Brough this product a couple of months back and it works great. Very easy to use the included stylus and draw and write on the board . Brought it for my kid but can be handy in writing a regular shopping list or to do activities as well.
I bought this variety pack as a gift for my child. As you can see in the picture I got total of 15 cards (advertised 16 cards): 11 cards are drawing design 2 cards are games 2 cards are learning cards. One learning card is half of the alphabet (until J) and the other one is math subtraction on one side and multiplication on the other side. Recommendation: create 3 separate packs: Drawing Games Learning for customers to choose based on their needs. Also please make available the whole alphabet in the Learning Pack.
Adds quite a bit to the original but disappointingly doubles up on the same ones also. So you'll have duplicates of everything that comes in the set with the storage case but also lots of neat additional templates including a bunch of disney drawing ones.
I just received the item and either I am missing part of the package or they give incomplete templates which seems silly. The alphabet only goes to J? Feel like most of the learning templates were not included.
So I bought the extra sketch papers with learning games and drawing..the alphabet only goes to J..why? I had a friend in the states order to deliver to me in Canada.. for a gift for Xmas.. not sure why they only went to J
I appreciate that I dont have to ever buy sticky notes again. However the writing on these is rather light compared to the full sized note. Overall all I would buy it again and I dont regret it but I do wish the writing was more bold.
Thought it would be a great idea for my 4 yr old as she loves drawing however the colour isn't very bright unless in full light. Definitely not worth the $50 you pay instore.
This is a really cool toy! My kids spend a lot of time playing with it! My daughter even uses it for her homework when she is doing math! I really like how compact it is a great quality! It has been dropped a lot of times and it still looks and works great! So it is kids proof!
I received this product and my kids and I have been using these non stop ever since. Mainly using it for homework trying to show work and explaining problems. Its nice to leave messages or directions when not around. It comes with an detachable cover and magnetic.
My daughter and granddaughter visited my office recently and spied my VersaNotes. Upon their investigation they both declared they needed them! Bam! Valentine's gifts for both!Enough said.
Great way to make and pass quick notes. If the pen was magnetized so it could stick to a fridge or dry erase board that would make this a five star product.
Nice build and utility. It is too big to be considered a pocket notebook. The placement of the pen also makes it cumbersome to use as a pocket note taker. A magnetized back would at least make it a good fridge or dry erase board mounted note taking device.
Our kid loves to doodle and this little guy was the perfect christmas present for the plane restaurants and everywhere else. Fosters creativity in a compact size with zero mess—and it's freakin' adorable. Recommended!
Many years ago maybe 8 or 10 my sister showed me the new product that she got for homeschooling her 4 kids. Boogie boards that stuck to her frig. Cool.After watching them for nearly a year I bought a set for my own 4 kids. Eventually they all died and the battery could not be replaced.We bought cheaper knock off versions.But when I found any Boogie boards on clearance we bought them. I even got one of the first Blackboards.So a few weeks ago my youngest brought her knock off to me to complain that it had died and replacing the battery did nothing to help. Bummer. She pleaded that I buy her a real one - she said Nothing works as good at the Boogie Boards. A few days later there was a sale offered. She is so happy to have a real one. I just hope it survived the fall when it flew out of her hands in her exuberant hopping about in joy.
I love the concept the easiness and convenience. I did not like the price compared to other similar boards and the co-writing color is green and I thought it would change a little.
A friend of mine had told me about this product and I went on the website and was very surprised by how inexpensive they were. It’s also a great alternative if your child is not ready for electronics or you don’t want them to get sucked into the tablets. They make it good for educational practice and it is mess free most importantly which is a big thing for parents. I’m a grown adult and I love playing with it myself I wanna buy another one. Very good product and great quality. I also had an issue with my shipping and was able to reach out to the company and they expedited it back to me! Overall very satisfied and I continue to recommend it to others now!
I'm a social worker and I use this to write down my to-do list for the day! I love how it erases so I can get rid of any private information easily and its so much better than throwing out Post-It notes all day!
I love that you can use this for anything from making list to playing games and a push of a button it can be erased and start all over again so that means there is no eraser to have to keep up with. It does use batteries so there is no need to have to find some where to plug it up to charge.
Very small item and and the erase button is too hard to press and erase I wish it could be bit easy for tiny hands and pen string is too short especially if they are learning to write or hold pencil
