Abraham Hunter is a self-taught, award-winning artist, highly respected among wildlife conservation groups and fans nationally. Starting to paint at age 12, Abraham progressed from selling his work in local restaurants and gift shops to opening his own gallery and being published, all by the time he was 21.

Says Hunter of this piece: ""This was the first painting that I painted after moving in to my new home here at my mini farm. This area where I am reminds me of the beautiful farms in New England and that's what inspired me. It might not happen here exactly like I want, but someday I want a fish and duck pond that I can sit and paint at all day and maybe catch a fish with my son! Who knows, maybe I will go really crazy and get some dairy cows!""
