Functional.
Functional. I don't like how the text bleeds just a little and how easy it is to bump the erase button but it serves it purpose. I think if I did it over again I would also get a larger one.

Good for letter practicing
Bought it for my 5 year old Neice so she could practice her sight words and alphabet (and doodle of course!) She loves it! I have a Jot Memo and letter sized Blackboard and I love them! (I use the Jot for tallying the Students boarding my School Bus memo I use for lists notes packing lists and the letter is used for Incident Reports.)

Reduces Carbon Footprint
I am all about saving the environment and this saves me SO much trash by not wasting all of those expensive post-it notes! It’s bright clear and easy to read. I also love that the pen can be positioned in 2 directions so it can stand in both portrait and landscape view!

Unexpected benefits!
Excellent tool for encouraging early reading skills. We actually purchased multiple tablets to facilitate verbal language with our little one who struggles with social language but has unbelievably strong reading skills. We write words for her to say while conversing with others. The tablet works perfectly for our needs!

Great device for kids
Bought this for our grandson's birthday. Now he won't have to fight with his sister to use her's. I like the color but this particular board doesn't have the lock screen button. I thought that was a standard feature. I know he'll just love getting this.

Joy Writing Tablet by Boogie Board
I keep one on my fridge one near my workbench and one in my den. Great for jotting down things of which I need to remind my self. Just yesterday I was looking at new tires on line and couldn't remember what size I needed. I got theJot off the fridge and went out in the driveway to look at the tires and used the board to record the tire size. Little things like that make it so useful. I really like that the battery can be easily replaced. The first generation did not have a replaceable battery capability and that was a detraction.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this Boogie Board. It lets me list my daily 'must-do' tasks and helps me prioritize and focus on my work agenda. It's so easy to glance at the info I need to remind myself instead of accessing online or through appointment book. I love it. (It's not just for children or a produce list.)

Not worth the money
The contrast is not sharp enough to clearly see what is written. The stylus/pen is not secured to the board and therefore easily lost. We had a board similar to this years ago that was misplaced and I was hoping this would be more similar to that one. Disappointed.
