This 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle by Maurits Cornelis Escher, one of the world's most famous graphic artists, shows an image of Escher reflected in a shiny sphere. This lightly colored and highly detailed puzzle provides an interesting perspective of the artist sitting in a room surrounded by books.
M.C. Escher drew over 2000 sketches in his lifetime and is most famous for his so-called impossible constructions showing people and staircases ascending and descending in multiple directions at the same time. In addition to being a graphic artist, Escher also designed tapestries, postage stamps and murals, as well as illustrated books.

Bad puzzle cuts

Great artwork to turn into a puzzle, but I found the pieces were very similar in their pattern cutting. Two to three pieces would fit very well into another's slot and I kept having to go back and take pieces out. My whole room is filled with jigsaw puzzles, so I'm no amateur. I haven't encountered this problem with other brands, so just telling you how I thought. I did not have a problem with missing pieces.
Unique looking puzzle.

I loved this puzzle. The white and the black areas at the top and bottom are especially challenging. Would have given 5 stars but puzzle was missing a piece. I have contacted Buffalo about that though hopefully that issue will be solved, because I really wanted to glue and display this interesting looking puzzle, and extremely hard to assemble, puzzle on my wall.
