A house is being moved on a flatbed, horse-powered carriage in this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle by famed master painter Charles Wysocki. “House Movers” is part of the Wysocki collection from Buffalo Games. Families look on as a house is being moved across town by Amish movers in this slice of Americana life. In the background you can see a barn stuffed with hay, animals grazing in the fields, and a rainbow off in the distance. But remember, home is not where the house is, home is where the heart is.
For more than 40 years Charles Wysocki enjoyed his love affair with life and Americana, and through his imaginative and colorful artwork, touched the hearts of millions worldwide. "Chuck" felt a special kinship with puzzlers who share in the creative process by building his paintings one piece at a time.

Change in quality?

I buy all the 1000 piece Charles Wysocki puzzles and love them. The quality is always very good but I have noticed a change in the last few - thicker pieces which are harder to put together and take apart, and which seem to result in some damage to some of the pieces as though in the cutting process. Please go back to less-thick, easy to work with pieces.
The only brand I buy

I buy on Buffalo Games puzzles for 3 reasons:
I love the artwork of Charles Wysocki.
I love the poster that really helps to see details
I love Buffalo Games quality.
With brands that previously made Wysocki puzzles you had to rely on the cover picture for assembly and it often had a logo or something that obscured part of the picture. I don't know if they thought it was to protect the image from being copied, or ...? It was frustrating.
I've bought other brands of puzzles that had pieces that were hugely irregular, and ranged from an inch in diameter to as small as my thumbnail. Not my idea of fun.
Buffalo Games puzzles are so well made that they stand up to being assembled many times (which I do).
I will continue to buy all the new Wysocki 1000 piece puzzles as they come out. I would also love to see Wysocki puzzles with artwork that has not been used as a puzzle before.
