    Pure Joy!

This was such a fun puzzle to assemble and view! It displays so well how cats can charmingly look so goofy and serious at the same time. I love the many clear details and the fact that each cat was different from the others. I'm not sure if it is from a photograph, painting, or combination of both those things, but it is delightful. The puzzle is easy to assemble. The pieces are larger than I need, but that's OK. I prefer puzzles that are fewer in number than 1,000-piece ones, because I am somewhat OCD and have a hard time leaving a puzzle alone once I start it. With the 1,000-piece ones, I end up spending way too much time sitting in one place and developing eye strain while I'm driven to finish it. 500-piece puzzles are my favorites, but even the 300-piece are preferable to the 1,000 piece ones, and Buffalo Games 750-piece "Raining in Paris" was wonderful. But back to this puzzle. The pieces fit snuggly, there was no image lift or warping, so the finished surface was nicely flat. The pieces are configured in a modified grid pattern with a good variety of shapes that I enjoy. Never was there a question about if a piece belonged in a particular spot or not, and there were no tedious areas of sameness to work through. I highly recommend if you are looking for some fun rather than for a challenge.
